Yup! I attended the 1st BlogCon as planned. My objectives for attending the event are as follows:
- (/) personally thank Angelo for the free domain (.com.ph) and Abe for the free ploghost hosting.
- (x) meet Jun Asis of MabutingBalita.net-- it seems he did not make it
- (/) learn from the "gurus" of Philippine Blogosphere. All the presentations are good but I appreciate the one of Marc
- (/) validate the demography of Pinoy bloggers as presented.
- (x) socialize with other bloggers-- went ahead to prepare for an
early meeting on Tuesday for the Personnel Management's Association of
the Philippines (PMAP) Annual Convention delegates who will tour Mall
of Asia.
- (x) convince myself of monetizing my blog-- not that I don't want money, perhaps in the future-- with a blog of different niche.
- (/)
great food-- not so great but satisfied nevertheless. - (x) personally give feedback to Globe Innove reps of my experiences with their "Speak and Surf"-- don't have much time.
I hope Globe are able to achieve their goals and ROI for the money they spent-- what's the catch guys?
I hope future gatherings will remain informal but at the same time
provide a two way learning approach for the benefit of the bloggers of
different niche and age group.
Till next BlogCon-- hope Globe will raffle one year free subscription of their broadband products next time around!
